OHIO Adds Two More Forwards for 2017-2018 Season

Athens, OH OHIO Hockey added two more forwards for the 2017-2018 season. Kyle Craddick comes to OHIO University after a year with the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL where he posted five points on two goals and three assists. Prior to his time in Minot, Craddick played two seasons for the Columbus Junior Blue Jackets U18 AAA team. While in Columbus, Craddick netted 26 points in 61 games over two seasons.”Kyle was one of our first targets over the past two years.” stated head coach Sean Hogan. “We were excited when he made the decision to attend OHIO.” Hogan continued, “Kyle is a player that can play both center and wing and can play in all situations. He is tough on the wall and fits into our out-work, out-will, out compete team philosophy.”Tim Thurnau comes to OHIO as a transfer student from Elmira College (NCAA) and is also a product of the Columbus Junior Blue Jackets U18 AAA program. Prior to his time in Elmira, NY Thurnau was a top forward for the Walpole Express in the EHL, where he posted 51 points on 23 goals and 28 assists over two seasons. “Timmy is another big forward for us that shoots the puck well.” commented Hogan. “He plays a great north-south game and finishes his checks. He’s a player that will help us keep OHIO Hockey at the top of the national polls.”OHIO Hockey will open up the 2017-2018 season at the end of September.
